EDO bridges the gap between subsistence farming and enterprise through farmer organization, skills transfer, and community finance.
Ecoshe Development Organisation (EDO) was established as the dedicated non-profit and social-impact arm of the Safo-Sarpong Group. While the broader group focuses on commercial agribusiness and logistics, EDO exists solely to uplift the foundation of the agricultural ecosystem: the smallholder farmer.
By bridging the gap between subsistence farming and commercial opportunity, EDO provides the training, mechanisation, and community finance required to break cycles of poverty.

“Prosperous, food-secure and climate-resilient rural communities driven by productive, mechanised and financially empowered farmers.”
To transform smallholder agriculture by expanding access to improved production technologies, affordable mechanisation, practical agronomic knowledge, community-based financial services and reliable markets, while strengthening household food security and sustainable rural livelihoods.
